Plays DVD'S and CD'S with No Problem

96% of the time a Game is loaded to the machine the following error is on screen:  Your Xbox can't recognize this disc.  Make sure it's an xbox game.  Also check to see if the disc is dirty or damaged.  Remove the disc to continue.  The other 4% of the time the game will play for a short period of time then the previous error will appear.

The Console has NOT been opened.

Not sure if this problem is an easy fix or not.
