Up for auction are two gorgeous vintage Strawberry Shortcake items. There is a mug and a small plate (dish?). The mug is marked on the base “Strawberry Shortcake Stoneware Designer’s Collection American Greetings Corp – Made in Japan – 25221”. The mug has marks around it and yellow stains inside it and also needs a really good clean. The handle has glitter on it, which I can’t take off (I’m sure there’s a way though with some product). I can’t see any broken parts on the cup. The base of it has a hollow bump type thing, not sure if this is a small chip or if it originally came like this. The mug looks really nice on display! The small plate is marked on the base “Strawberry Shortcake Fine Porcelain Cleveland USA – Made in Japan”. It is so cute! It needs a good wipe. Also there is price sticker residue on the base (black). This comes off easily, however I will leave that job for the buyer. The small plate has no chips or broken parts. These beautiful SS items are not for the mint collector, however they are quite rare and would make a nice addition to a collection!
